For years, Nova Fides has been involved in the use of solar energy for textile production. The headquarters are powered by an efficient photovoltaic system that produces energy that exceeded the company’s needs. The surplus is then fed back into the electricity network available to the operator. 

Various production stages are carried out with an sizable contribution from solar energy, including weaving, and by other suppliers in the production chain who were selected on the basis of energy sustainability criteria.

Nova Fides maintains a precise sampling and production plan through its affiliated weaving company, Paola Textile (PTX). In 2022-2023, the company invested in 36 state-of-the-art looms with 4.0 technology, increasing its production capacity from 44 to 80 looms.

The commitment to reduce the impact of fossil fuels is one of the priority objectives of Nova Fides’ environmental strategy, forming part of a constantly monitored improvement plan.
